Subfloor repairs in the mobile homes we buy/rent

The mobile homes that we work on have subfloors that are made of press board and when water touches them they fall apart, I'm sure the only reason the mobile home manufactures use this type of flooring is because its very cheap and they can build multiple homes using the flooring at a very low cost per home. When we find homes that have floor damage its usually always with this type of flooring, we repair the bad places in this flooring with 23/32 tongue and groove  subfloor, at todays prices its about 40.00 dollars per sheet and much more durable than particle board. Every once in a while we will run across a home that has 3/4 plywood subfloors this is the best type of material to use but in todays world its close to 60.00 dollars per sheet which is not in our budget to fix these homes with. Most all the subfloor repairs are done in the same areas of a mobile home which are usually in the wet areas and around doors and windows, most all windows and doors leak on mobile homes over time and must resealed.
