High-Rise Condos In Seattle - Consider The Amenities

When you're looking at high-rise condos in Seattle one of the main selling points may be the amenities. While you should definitely take the location, the price and the cost of utilities into account, the amenities are often a leading factor in your decision.

Swimming pool

Love to swim? There is nothing better than coming home after a hard day’s work and relaxing by your own pool with your neighbors and acquaintances.

Door person

This is a wonderful feature to have in any building. A doorman gets to know the people that live in the building and this makes him more aware of any potential problems with strangers.

Security system

Are there security cameras set up in the building and outside? Is there a security gate set up to enter the area? Find out what type of security has been set in place for the high-rise condos in Seattle you are considering.

Fitness center

If you love to work out then this can reduce your costs on a gym membership. If the high-rise condo offers a fitness center, make sure that you visit it yourself to see if it will replace the gym you currently frequent.

Retail stores and restaurants on site

If you are the type of person that likes to eat out or grab a bite to eat on the way home from work, it would be very convenient to have a restaurant or two located in the building, assuming you like the kind of food they serve.

Parking

You'll have to find out if parking is available especially if you have more than one vehicle. You should also find out how close the parking is to the building.

One thing you will need to keep in mind is that these amenities are paid for through your condo fees and the more that are offered the more you will probably have to pay in fees. Find out the fees involved before falling head over heels in love with any high-rise condos in Seattle to make sure that you can afford it.
