Street Smart Green Builder Selects Queen Anne Hill Location

 5037

Builder/developer Martha Rose, president of Martha Rose Construction, has always been a big fan of building her homes in walkable neighborhoods before it was fashionable. Being a transplant Rose believes that people would really like to ditch their vehicles and go out for an evening neighborhood stroll.

City Cabins her latest project located on Seattle’s Queen Anne Hill neighborhood is within walking distance of three of Seattle’s most popular neighborhoods, Ballard, Freemont and Queen Anne Avenue all three of these neighborhoods are filled with restaurants, services, cafes, parks, bars, and shops. The best of the best and very eclectic!

Seattle Magazine listed some of these up and coming neighborhoods as some of the best walkable neighborhoods in Seattle. The complete list is listed below.

A major commitment for Rose in her sustainable building business is to buy locally and find good infill neighborhood lots Queen Anne Hill the site for City Cabins is a perfect example. The homes are designed C.B Anderson & Associates will be traditional style architecture with some metal accessories to give them a little pop. The interiors  finishes will be a bit more shall we say untraditional, the floors will be made from recycled 2 X 8 tongue and groove planks from an old warehouse in Oregon, vertical bay windows and cabin inspired wall scones.

City Cabins® on Queen Anne Hill will be completed in October 2011 and are now available for presale. For more information contact Adrian Willanger 206 909-7536.
