Yes, You can Target Market Inexpensively!

Yes, you can target market inexpensively!

By Fred Eckert July 2014

Marketing to just the right people is so important for your time, treasure and talent! It is time and money wasted, to send flyers, cards or other marketing pieces to consumers, who either can’t or won’t buy your product or service.

If, for example, your ideal market were homeowners over 60, with incomes above $150,000, living currently in a two story home, over 2500 square feet, in Scottsdale, Arizona and were of Chinese heritage, your marketing would be considered targeted and your success, should be higher.

Thinking strategically, you want to try to match your product or service (vacation home, new purchase loan, refinance, property management service, etc.), with just the right consumer! It really doesn’t matter what you have to offer, though, it does matter, that you are getting your message to the right consumer!

Lists of specific types of customers are available from Chicago Title, via TitlePro247. There is a charge for these target specific leads when adding such factors as: Ethnicity, Income, Profession, Phone # Availability, Age, Marital/Children Status, Square Footage - for example! The cost per record starts at .06 cents and you only pay for the records you want, with no monthly fee and no storage of your credit card information.

You might want Accountants earning more than $100 K, who are married with children and living in Dallas and who have rental property, for instance. Your individual cost per record might then be .14 cents and if you wanted 20 records, you would pay $2.80.

The service is available nationwide, so check with your local Chicago Title office to see if it is available in your area. For Southern California, you can register at www.chicagotitle.com in the upper right, at not a member, for access to property profiles nationwide, for free and the access for Titlepro247 service is included, for your targeted searches.

  • There are, of course, other paid services that may offer similar leads for a fee and you should compare costs. I believe that marketing to specific types of consumers, with appropriate wording, to meet the specific consumer’s needs, is much better than sending your promotional marketing materials to the general pubic!
  • My parting comment is “You can watch things happen or you can make things happen”!
