How to Attract Business

I am a newbi in the real estate note business, I have worked about nine (9) deals so far, since I started that generated some cash flow, for me, some deals I got shafted on and the others did work out, but by the time the money came in it was going out. I really enjoy working for myself, but I'm getting a little fustrated. I can't seem to find any good deals. Now I do know that thats business, sometimes your hot and sometimes you cold. But I would atleast like to know How to attact more business, I have spent money on advertising, until my market budget is depleated, as well as going the free rout. I Would like to know how can I attract more business, to the point were I am atleast working one (1) to two (2) deals a week. I am a real estate note broker, specializing in all notes from real estate,  mortgage, & promissory notes. mobile home paper w/ land affixed, trust deed sales, & people who by forclouser and would like to creat notes by simultaneous closings. Can anyone help me with advice.
