Rehabs Revealed: Merriville, IN. Part 1 of 4 (Getting started)

Wallpaper and paneling were everywhere throughout this house! We called in extra help for the
demolition just to get it done faster, but it was a lot of demo! Not only the inside, but also the outside needed quite a bit of work. We had to get rid of several trees and a lot of brush and overgrowth.

Located in a prime area on a quiet cul-de-sac, this flip had several great features to begin with including a new furnace, water heater, and windows. With the plumbing already in place downstairs for a second bathroom, we changed the lower level of this bi-level into a master suite with a gorgeous bathroom that included a custom-tile shower and a separate walk-in closet. We’ll talk about the rest of this house in the next three blogs and give you some SKU numbers for materials from Home Depot along with some great before and after pictures!
