Success at real estate investing follows those that work for it!

I recently had an interested investor in my office to meet our team and learn how we could help him start investing in Memphis.  He had another motive for his visit though.  He had heard about our company and done some research on us.  He knew everything about us that he could find online and had done a pretty thorouh job of vetting us before his visit.  What he really wanted, what he was really after was - how do we buy and sell 20+ properties a month while offering all of the value-added services under one roof.  He wanted to see our systems, our network, our organization from top to bottom.

Now, I'm not opposed to showing anyone what we do and our doors are always open.  But peeling back the curtains and letting it all hang loose is another thing.  I kindly explained to him that he was more than welcome in our office, but, if he wanted details, we have a mentorign program where everything is laid open.  I invited him to offices to see the operation and then he cold decide if he wanted to go into the mentoring program.

Well, let me just say that it takes a lot of guts to say what he said at the end of his visit.

"You guys work too hard for me!"

I looked at him and said that a lot of people pay a lot of money to learn that in our mentoring program!

The difference - and this is the key that I want everyone reading to realize - if you are passionate about what you do and love what you do  - then it is easy to work as many hours and take on as many tasks and push yoursel to improve every day.  AND the kicker is - it never feels like work!

We love what we do and have buit an incredibly talented team around our company.  We love what we do so much that we never see it as work.  My father often tells people that he retired almost 30 years ago when he went into business for himself.

If you want to succeed - especially in the investment real estate business, you have to be willing to pour your entire self into your success.  If you truly love what you are doing, it won't be that difficult.
