Why Invest In Multifamily?

Normal 1578045605 39b36bbc5b04ded02eed6c4af0fd1703

My previous show guest started his journey in the residential industry and quickly gained a success selling residential real estate, where that landed him in the position of running the number one team in the Carolinas and firm that he really dug deep into his goals.

He's big about positive energy and positive mindset when he sat down, he realized, that to reach the goals he needs to play the game Monopoly, but in real life and how we do that is, we buy up multifamily. So he decided that multifamily is the asset class that he wanted to be and he studied all commercial type of asset classes, but he knew multifamily was a necessity, because as humans we need shelter, so he focused on B and C value add over a hundred units here in the Carolinas.

And that's how he made his transition into it, by studying, it reading tons of books before he made that transition and then he hired a coach in December of last year and told him six more months, and then he will be done selling real estate and he held himself highly accountable. One month later he called the coach and said, I'm done, he said, it's only been a month, and Chirs said, I work best when my back is against the wall and I will make this work.

And since then, he acquired a little over 40 million dollars worth of real estate with QC Capital, so growing substantially and he is very excited about it. Also he mentioned that Millennials right now are scared to buy a house and that's one section of Millennials, because they've seen their parents back away, when they lose everything, they don't want to be in their footsteps, so that's why they're renting, but a big thing to these days and especially here in Charlotte where Charlotte's the second biggest financial district behind Manhattan is banks, when it comes to banks and jobs we're seeing a lot of relocation, so these kids and these these people that move for jobs, they want to be put in an apartment, because they don't know maybe in two years they're gonna have to up and move again and move to another city, but the biggest thing is the convenience, look what Amazon has done to Charlotte, Amazon has patent where you click you click one time and you buy it right now, then you get it in two days and sometimes you even get it in one day, so it's that necessity and you don't want to cut the grass anymore, you don't want to worry about doing yard work anymore, a lot of people want the come and go, they want the amenities of having a pool, having a gym, having expresso machine in your lobby, so that's why he realized that focusing on a multi-family asset class is the best thing.
