What challenge did you face when hiring someone to work remotely?

Hi Bp fam,

I am looking to hire 2 virtual assistants to do outbound calls remotely. For those who already have someone working for them what did you find to be the challenge when training someone to take the job serious if working from home. The position will be commission only but I assume those who love real estate and want to be involved understand this business is "Work first, get paid later". As an agent you sign on knowing you don't get a check unless you put the effort and work hard.

What challenge did you face?....and any advice on training or communication tactics?

@April Molina

While I have no experience with virtual assistants, I can tell you finding good help is a long process.  It is hard to find good help no matter how good your interview questions are.  This will be something that will take time and a good chance of you going through several people before finding the right one.

Have solid interview questions and contacting their references are a must.  While I know you mentioned commission based salary, I would make sure you create specific goals which if met gives them an added bonus.  You want to keep your team driven and hungry to strive for the best.

Best of luck and keep in touch!
