HVAC issues after 4 days of purchasing home

We just purchased and closed on our house on may 9th. Four days later we are having HVAC issues to the point where we need to completely install a new system. Does anyone have any advice on how I should move forward? ( Waiting to hear back from the realtor about a home warranty)
