We just purchased and closed on our house on may 9th. Four days later we are having HVAC issues to the point where we need to completely install a new system. Does anyone have any advice on how I should move forward? ( Waiting to hear back from the realtor about a home warranty)

So me and the wife have discussing our first property. We want to do a live in rehab. We started discussing the idea of purchasing a double wide manufactured home w/ some land and turning it into a permanent structure with the intention of renting it out once we move again. Thoughts?

Happy Pre-Thanksgiving everyone! My wife and I are buying our first house with our VA loan soon. Currently in the home search phase. I got interested in real estate investing after figuring out the significant amount of money we are spending while renting and it not working for us. So i convinced my wife while on deployment that i want more financial freedom after reading the book Rich Dad Poor Dad.i have been reading books recommended in the book and just have a few questions.

1. Are there any military real estateinvestors out there?

2. Does any have any experience with VA loans and buying rehab needing properties?

3. Any tips or roadblocks i should look out for?
