Process to remove Squatters on Land in Snohomish County, Washington
Situation:
Recently purchased a rural property @ Auction where the only structure had been destroyed in a fire and is uninhabitable. The property has no power, however I am not sure about water or septic. I have driven by the property and spoken with neighbors. There are active squatters, not sure who or how many, living in 2 RV's.
At this time I don't know if they have permission to be there but from talking to the neighbors do not think so. It appears they've been there in excess of 4 months.
I understand that until I receive the Deed from the Trustee I am unable to take action - which may be up to 4 weeks.
Question:
Other than cash for keys - what legal steps are there in Snohomish County/Washington since they are not in a house/structure?
Thanks.

I'd call the police - trespassing - once you own it.
You could talk to the people and let them know you bought the property and are just waiting on some paperwork. See if they volunteer to leave.
Since property is condemned see if code enforcement will help you. I use them to get someone out in 24 hours in SC.
