Starting out in Real Estate / Business

Nariah Joyner
Posted

Hi, I’m Nariah. I’m a Senior in highschool planning to go to college for Business management - real estate minor. I am interested in investing in Real estate , but I’m not sure how I would begin that journey throughout college/after. I’ve done lots of research regarding REITS as something to get started with. Just need more advice on how to get the path started.

Quote from @Nariah Joyner:
Instead of spending all that money on student loans, why not get a job with a property management company and get some real education? You will quickly learn whether you like it or not, how to market, screen applications, manage renters, coordinate and supervise maintenance, and so much more. And you'll be earning a paycheck instead of spending it on classes taught by professors who probably have very little experience in real estate investing.

After four years of college, you'll still be without a home, without a job, and without experience. Start working right away and you could have a well-paying job, be debt free, and own a couple investments within four years.
