A few people will get lucky, time the market perfectly and make huge returns compared to the other 90% that get into it that will do worse than the S&P 500.In other ways Real Estate is different though - first "Everyone will always need housing" unlike Bitcoin or Pork Belly Futures. 

Right now it is, "How to Make a Million Trading Bitcoin or Meme Stocks." 

I mean, were living in a world where people will pay 20k for a bitcoin and cars can drive themselves, but somehow you need a "license" to buy or sell a house?

The crypto market really isn't mainstream and many would consider it fiat currency with no intrinsic value, but it still does have some value when one calculates out the cost to produce each new Bitcoin, etc.

However, I don't see a problem with continuing to average in, even during a downturn.More importantly, I think real estate is the best hedge against the markets ;)And I think the next best hedges are precious metals and bitcoin.I think the dollar is going to see a real devaluation, and lose its standing as the world reserve currency, bitcoin as sovereign and decentralised money will take its place.

Is plan B Bitcoin and stocks or just biting the bullet and buying back in at an even higher price which might very well be “today’s bubble” just 15 years after it was predicted back in 2010. 

 $30k could go into REIT shares, a down payment for an out of state rental, a syndication, bitcoin, etc.When thinking out of state investing: markets you know and/or have a connection to in some form is a great place to start.  

I don't know the answer to any of those questions.Personally, I'm sticking with cash flow(holding reserves as well) and... this one may discredit me... bitcoin.
