I love the portability of e-books.

We own a custom home, I have a gym with a sauna, a home office designed around my needs (not just a room with a laptop), and everything else is built to how we like it.

We do that with our own interior design, amenities like a sauna or cable TV in a remote area, and other creative ways.

I ended up having to put portable a/c's into two of the bedrooms instead.

You can add a window unit or portable but I wouldn't.  

Boston, DC, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, and areas of Chicago are all densely populated and high cost areas, where many residents have white collar jobs that were relatively portable during the pandemic.

Although I do track all the trends and partake in a few bio-hacker type things myself (hello sauna), it doesn't matter how much money people make, it always comes down to simple low hanging fruit kind of changes that make the biggest difference.
