I have contacts and investments in a particular business model in Australia, returning ~20% net (downside being exposure to a somewhat volatile currency) plus capital gains.The model involves the rights to manage hotels/ vacation apartment rentals/resorts.

I'm visiting with family this weekend, so do not have a lot of time to go find them all, but will try to pull the information together into a blog post in the next 2-3 weeks.One additional consideration which has arisen in the past 3-4 months is the shift in the relationship between the CAD and USD - I sold USD at 1/1.2245 last week and the currency jockeys are indicating we could see 1/1.18 before the end of May.

One of the communities I managed was 80% absentee owners from the UK, and with the associated currency value drop, I'm sure they are very concerned right now.Locally we really don't expect to see much influence, unless that specific condo is heavily involved with UK tenants, at which point it might be wise to advertise to other renters.You have some historical numbers, so continue to review the current performance against the past.
