Figure out other ways to de-stress your life so you can keep your W2 for as long as possible - outsourcing disliked tasks, working on mental/physical health, shorter commute, etc...Retirement seems like an emotional state of relatively low stress and contentment.  

Most of our properties are in Cecil County, but some of the investors who attend are also in Newark/Wilmington Delaware area.

I think Annapolis and DE beaches are probably the best bet in this area. 

In my opinion solar is being oversold based on the ROI.

@Jennifer Katherine De Loughy- probably not ....try reaching out to local bank / credit unions  that are close to the property ...try reaching out to any bank connections you have ....you might find a lender that's willing to  cross collateralize  it with your home 

Best,Gin Certainly a bit biased here, but we would strongly recommend setting up LLCs for the properties, and ideally pairing them with a holding company in WY, DE, or NV to fully separate the risks and liabilities of each of the properties from your own personal liability, and vice versa.
