I'm interested in self-directing my Roth IRA and investing in real estate.I recently read Tax-Free Wealth by Tom Wheelwright and he stresses the point that you should not nest a tax-advantaged investment in another tax shelter.

I think I'll just do the 8%, poke at the bees nest a little and test the waters on what they say or do and go from there.

we had same situation on our river house on the Columbia bald eagle nest a few hundred feet down river.
