What property management company are you with?   

Our property management company uses Yardi Breeze, which gets the job done but has its quirks - mainly accounting-wise.

Is there anyway to learn more about these companies and individuals?

I just used the BP search feature and entered, "Nomad property management" which turned up quite a few matches.Why couldn't you do that?

We are closing on our first home with friends and family money and we are looking for a solution or an attorney with existing contracts that we can pay to modify them to our company.  

In 2020 I started a short-term rental property management company that I got to nearly 100 units in 6-months before I realized I absolutely hated property management and here's how I did it.I know you probably don't want to hear this but cold calling.Call property owners in the area and ask what they think of their current property management company.

It's all about who you hire to manage them :) We started off managing our own properties and soon after started our own property management company.

While living abroad for several years, I contracted with a large vacation rental management company to manage my rental property.

I ask because last year when I categorized my expenses I listed fees for hospitable as a management fee and my CPA told me I cannot have management fees if I am doing the STR loop hole.
