If your employer is concerned enough about it to say stop or be fired find out the problem before doing anything rash.

Whenever you are new to large sums of money DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT make rash decisions and throw it into something with which you have no experience in.That is a recipe for disaster.

Nor did I get here through rash acts and blindly following.

In 2008 there was some substantial movement in the rental market (I've heard) due to the on-ramp that we used to get into the GFC.If we see a rash of foreclosures now it won't be because of toxic loans and the systematic fallout of the markets built on those loans. 

I don’t think you can justify making rash comments about something you have not a clear understanding of.
