That my friend, is how the world works.The politicians favorite race is the one where they go unopposed.But I keep faith.

And the total and utter disgust I've been feeling at politicians, organizations, and some of the general public being so flippant as to tell rental property owners they can't evict has just added another layer to the ugly cake for me.It's galling that for years politicians have grossly undercut affordable housing programs, but suddenly expect us to become de-facto charities against our will. 

If it's your business, do what you have to do, and let the politicians have the bleeding hearts. 

Of course, the variance is always a possible solution, but it cost a chunk of change and is at the whim of the neighbors and politicians. 

Make no mistake about it, the politicians are forcing the European model on us, here and much of it will play out over the next decade.  

Is it moral for politicians and local groups to routinely vote no against denser housing?
