I can't give you a technical reason why, I just feel like it's isolated from any new construction, train tracks run through in all directions, and there are fewer nice streets houses in the midst of the crap.There is a CREIA yahoo group you can join where people post deals all the time, I'd jump on that.

By the way, if you don't know who Charles Van Doren is (you might recognize the name somewhere in the back of your mind), he was the academic portrayed by Ralph Feinnes in the film QUIZSHOW about the 1950s gameshow scandal where they were giving Charles Van Doren the answers to the questions they asked him while he was in the isolation booth.

If you don't have a calculator or alternatives (or goals/criteria), I'd recommend starting with them first (and not rushing into a decision).There are millions of properties and investment alternatives and isolating your search to one is very limiting.
