You reach a point where you either quit and give up on the dream or you say I am not going to listen to the naysayers and I am going to learn and outwork everyone else to make it happen.It will be a roller coaster in the beginning where you are building a business from the ground up.

I tell people all the time: I can tell you how to get a six pack, but you have to do the work.First of all, is it at all possible for you to get out of this sales role that has you're financial life in a roller coaster?

@Aaron Jackson, congratulations (I think).I'm kinda wondering why anyone would attend an auction, bid on, and win an 'as-is, where-is' property without having a game plan or even a clue where to start.Aaron, I am not targeting you; I am pointing out that this type of 'Ready, Fire, Aim' approach becomes more widespread when we get closer and closer to the end of that long roller-coaster first run-up to the top of the first drop.I sincerely wish you a successful transaction and would suggest you speak to the following professionals ASAP:  title company, real estate attorney, real estate broker, insurance broker, mortgage broker, and CPA.

That when I seen the vision with real estate investing especially with the roller coaster ride of the stock market.

I recently Bought my first property (fixer upper), in the Miami lakes area with my wife and it was quiet a roller coaster ride.

It was a roller coaster ride because the sellers were very difficult to work with, it was a short sale and they were losing their home rightfully so.

but if you buy low end high yield it will be a roller coaster. and you could potential lose money..  

I like using https://www.niche.com/ but their rating seems too overrated, while yours is more conservative (which is a good thing for me) I travel through Houston a few times a year and the heat and humidity for a west coaster is just so oppressive no way I  could live there personally.
