It was a lot of small, consistent steps, and plenty of seasons where it felt like progress was painfully slow.

One of my biggest pain-points starting out in New Construction that I sought up people to teach me the process... and like you, I was willing to volunteer my time.

A lot of them are a pain in the butt to work with, especially if their hefty commission is on the line...

I looked around my neck of the woods, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, Oklahoma and I looked at safety, prices, appreciation, cash flow, landlord friendliness, property taxes, insurance rates, growth, high tech moving in, job growth, disasters and availability of good deals.I settled on Arizona.

Vetting up front saves a lot of pain on remote rehabs.
