A few key things I’d have your inspector and maybe even a structural engineer check before moving forward:Foundation and structural integrity – Digging out a basement can impact footing depth and wall support.

I have not reviewed BAM's fees but it's likely based on their representation of UNDER 10% "skin in the game" that most of their "investment" is taken from fees deducted from the money gamblers place with them and counted as equity in the deal; this is a common practice in the syndication industry.

In my personal home I have to buy used machines because I have maybe 26" of depth to work with, and there are very few new machines that are suitable. 

I think could be a good deal, but I'm a bit out of my depth when it comes to commercial.
