You would be better off asking this question on the Tax forum where several tax accountants, including myself, answer tax questions: https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/51-tax-legal-issues-con...Short answer is that you (your LLC, to be more specific) will need to issue your relatives form 1099-MISC, and they - rather than you - will owe taxes on their portion of the profit.

I got no answer and they tried blaming me for credit , I sent screen shot of my credit pull so I’m not sure how to combat when they aren’t being cooperative , the only option they gave was have a cosigner but pushed to go asset based because it would be like starting over with underwriter.

When the property is sold, the depreciation recapture rules will apply, reducing your tax basis and potentially increasing your taxable gain.This sounds like it is straight out of chat gpt and does not answer my question. 🤣  Completely agree

When the lender at Griffin does answer they are nice and sweet  but I think it would be better if they answered the phone consistently and got the job done.
