Based on my experiences of requesting rent increases on dozens of section 8 recipients, the housing organization has always granted a rent increase.... perhaps not at the level I would like but never below the current rate.

@Keith Torsen Here's my $.02 the fact that you connected with this Realtor on a personal level is a good thing but the fact that you met him at an REI event and that he's relatively new to the business can be assets to you too, he may be hungry and willing to go above and beyond for you.
