NOw of course they could alter or fudge but you hope people are being honest and that's why you want to use brokers in this scenario they have ficuciary and license to protect.

So maybe they get lucky and sell it at the higher price and make a few $$ more....... but if its sits for 3 months then YOU are losing $$ for those 3 months....not them...... and you drop the price and it hardly even alters the agents commission.

At that point, I would either alter my plans to meet requirements, or change locations after accepting the fact that I no longer have control over what the city decides.

I was not aware of that, and it could very well be true, but because this was not something we altered during the renovation, I don't feel it's our responsibility to address it now, after the home is sold.

At least in Ohio, I do not need to call out that tenants are not allowed to paint the walls, but I do have a no alterations clause, which I believe paint would fall under.While the quality of cabinets definitely matters, I have had the same cabinets in my rentals for 8-9 years now, and there is not a scratch on the faces of the cabinets.
