In my experiences, meetups will likely help put you in contact with possible mentors, given most people that are attending meetups are active investors themselves, but some of them may become capital partners too.Ultimately, Don provided a lot of good feedback. 

Also, the Meyers duplex on your profile is a Class D property in a Class D Neighborhood, so not a great rental for an OOS investor.DM us if you'd like to chat about a better approach:) Appreciate the feedback Drew. :) I think honest conversations about neighborhood class, ROI, and risk tolerance are what make this forum valuable… even when our perspectives differ.
