I would say the more important thing is to sit down with the company your are thinking about investing with and get a feel for how they're going to manage your property, conduct maintenance, communicate with you and conduct business in general to see if they truly have your best interest at hand as a partnership and not just a transaction.  

Any chance there is a HML here or that anyone knows of that may be willing to give a chance/hand in helping our company in our new endeavors!
