I like tge ideas of multi family homes, longer term rentals, fix and flips, short term vacation rentals and commercial opportunities like rv parks/campgrounds etc.

Beyond that, be warned - most people who want to do this have heard about "arbitrage" strategy from some guru somewhere, have no idea what they are doing, and are likely to leave you without rent and with a damaged and/or worn out house if they can even manage to get anyone in there.

We have an idea to Mid term this property End of October to Beginning April for snowbirds and during the Summer months STR the property.
