They mark up the labor , the subcontractors , the materials , the dumpster , they charge for the time to get permits , even charge for the spot a pot on site . 

I live in California, and you would be shocked at the hoards of illegal money that gets filtered into real estate deals by drug cartels and growers wanting places to grow pot etc.

However, the presence of personal items like clothes, a suitcase, and a pot on the stove inside the RV raised red flags.

Now, your pot of funds are in a Roth completely tax free.Since you can only put earned income into these tax advantage accounts, you want to put in as much as possible while you are earning income. 

Time to crap or get off the pot.

I would put some sort of a barrier so he can't see into your yard, a tree or shrub in a pot so you can move it around would work or something totally in appropriate even better.

And keep plenty in the pot for maintenance. ;-) 

Instead of your properties being in one big pot, they are now in separate bowls. 

No smell of pot, loud music, barking dogs, throwing garbage in the wrong can, parking in the wrong spot, etc.

I tell them I don't care about the holes in the walls, the porn dungeon or the kitchen piled high with dirty pots and pans...
