If their investment goes bad that could really impact them for decades so it's all situational the impact mistakes can make on various levels using the wrong type of debt or the wrong timing for the debt.The old phrase (live within your means) can ring true.

But option 2 kicks in when you remember and realize the hard work and emotional milestone attachment of the "forever home" you accomplished and somehow would love to hold on to it.Let it go, and stay away from that phrase, Planet Earth is your home, and also even that us here is not forever.Best wishes!
