what i did see though was taking uneducated in the way of finances and shoehorning those folks into sub prime loans that they did not understand.. and that happened to all races.. a lot of the Hispanic non English speakers get absolutely annihilated by Spanish speaking loan officers and Brokers and INVESTORS..

Recently got my RE license this past year, I exercise, and will be taking Spanish this summer when I’m off the school schedule (I’m a teacher; this is year3)Im from the RGV so I can get by but my parents do not speak it. it’s been a goal for awhile to get better.I have very low living expenses and try to put my money in fueling my RE business, building up my emergency savings, putting towards my Roth, travel (but covid), and future RE investing.

So we have gifted nieces, nephews, family friend’s children money for their college fund, and some select charities.my son recently has talked about a few paths in a couple months: 1) green peace 2) continue formal education in Europe (he is fluent in German and has some Spanish but can pick up languages fast - he got this from my mom (skipped me)) 3) RE investor, but he does not have an understanding what it means to be an RE investor.
