It appears it was installed without the 18 inch minimum straight run of piping.

I took some satisfaction out of the fact that the little guy was pushing a boy's bicycle with 20-inch wheels up a hill, obviously really going places in his miserable life.

We had mostly brick homes, but we did have some houses that just had siding and we spent many times digging out bullets just over the babies crib, in the wall inches from the TV set, and more.  

The fence is still entirely inside my property by about 5 inches. 

Building code may be an issue, if your area requires a fire wall between living units, that means a fire resistant wall (block) that raises above the top plate about 18 inches I believe under roof, that would be hard to put into an existing building from the foundation up.By the time you do a conversion I'd say your tenant would be paying the cost of the add ons, you'll be paying for the house.

Your house floor may be supported by 12 inch to 18 inch brick or concrete pylons.

Things do sell fast in La Pine too though and prices are beginning to inch up, but homes have big lots.
