We started offering weekly trash removal, fixing things around the home, going by the home if the guest had an issue with a television, a light bulb being out, a stove not working etc.

I have heard of auditors actually going to a home and inspecting and if a television was thereit had to be justified as a business activity, otherwise the room was considered an additional living space and occassionally used for business thereby disqualifying all the deductions.I have been through this several times when I used a home office long ago.

ACV is a cheaper policy that inputs depreciation into the equation where you most likely will not get back to what you had (let's say you have a $10k TV and the insurance company believes that Television will have a life of 10 years, each year the actual cash value will depreciate 10% so a stolen TV in year 5 would warrant the insurance company to pay $5k).
