Saint Pete Beach and Treasure Island is not STR friendly in general.  

I believe it to be a little Southern California hidden treasure for cashflow, mainly class C but if you know what you are doing its a really good option to invest locally in CA with decent returns.

While the financial rewards are great, the true treasure is who you become along the way.

I am a Real Estate Attorney and Real Estate Investor over in Central Florida in the Treasure Coast area.

The FMR for a 6 BR house is over $1,800....one person's trash is another person's treasure!

Here in South Florida, on the Treasure Coast, we have a Real Estate Investor Association and the networking is great.

Hey @Raven Ye Mahar, so you should call the city and make sure but if you are renting it long term, you shouldn't be on the hook for any of the occupancy taxes.Nashville has a STR Occupancy Tax - https://www.nashville.gov/departments/finance/office-treasur...In the end, I would just call the city and get the deets that way. 

I hope to make it out to some investor meetups in the Treasure Valley this year.
