To add to what @Dennis M. is saying, it's not really well understood in other places that in these mature Rust Belt MSAs dominated by Democratic union machines (and I say this as a registered Democrat), the best action for OOS investors is rarely within the city limits proper, or even in the immediate suburbs.

In handling an eviction, I would trust a judge in Sonoma County way more than some Democratic machine appointed hack in, say, Cleveland to get a fair result.  2. $200/month seems like a very low bar. 

By the time Democrats make their changes from what the Republicans put together its going to look completely different...patience to see what the final bill looks like.

Even "Democratic Socialist" countries are actually capitalist (with very strong welfare states).

For myself, and I know others, REI is a great wealth democratizer.

NYC is a horrific place for LLs and there is a contingent of DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) politicians that are trying to make it even worse, end goal being no private property.

Not to sound condescending, but political parties like the Democratic party want to have free this and free that, high wages and the whole thing!

If the Democrats win this election, expect capital gain rates to go up, possibly reducing your future savings.
