Technology has enabled communication with a remote CPA through phone calls, emails, skype etc.

They tend to work in more established neighbourhoods that are safer with a good, reliable tenant pool and they are a newer management group that is younger and well connected to the area today, using a lot of the latest technology to assess opportunities.

With improvements in technology these days (ie magic eraser), I hardly have to do a full repaint during turnovers.

UofA is eventually seeing lots of brand new buildings with decent Technology VS older neighborhood houses with high rents being asked by landlords.

One thing in particular that we find interesting is the investment in entertainment technology in Lititz, driven by Clair Global and Rock Lititz.  

I'm 21 and in my junior year of studying Information Technology so I'm looking to house hack a 3-4 bedroom single family house just outside of Reading, PA, preferably close to a university so I can rent to students while I am still attending school.

A lot can be automated, use smart technology, but having a great boots on the ground partner is a must!

David Greene talked about finding a real estate agent, contractor, property manager etc in a town that you're interested in, and once you have a great team you can use modern technology to make remote investments.
