You'll run into two flavors.  1) Some solutions are standalone and they do the ACH component only and you then tie those payments into your accounting system like quickbooks, or whatever you are using.  

It's not a perfect analogy, but it gives the flavor of what happens in a rental: the vast majority of houses don't burn and most people don't need emergency medical attention every day.  

It all depends on their flavor of style.

Not saying all are that way but I sure guess they are in all flavors, colors and volts.

I think one reason certain areas don't reliably track affordability indexes are the international flavors of these coastal enclaves.
