I should have asked a ton of questions like what level of communications should I expect, what happens if one of your key people (PM, GC, etc.) quits, what backup systems do you have in place, how do you deal with situations like the tenant moving out or sub-letting?

fact is the way American gurus teach wholesaling its not legal in virtually every state in the union.. same rules apply.. entering into a contract with no ability to close is fraud in the inducement to contract.putting a property on the open market through website e mail blasts craigslist etc that you don't own is not legal without be a realtor.. we do need to remember this is all about the clever investor selling his program so he can drive his Lambo :)

Yes, BP is likely advertising but unless you are posting listings or soliciting business in the Marketplace the "Department's rules on advertising" specifically provide an exemption for communications which do not relate to specific property.With respect to implied agency -- since you see "possible agency being created every day" on the BP forums, please produce a single communication example that could even arguably result in a fiduciary relationship being established.
