@Thomas Daly first we should keep things in perspective. 3.37% or anywhere near it is a fantastic rate and if you can swing 15% thats a great loan.

Correct on the max fee for a notary (VA is $5 with travel fees negotiated), but a virtual notary can charge up to $25 (plus negotiated travel expenses (not sure why you'd travel for a virtual notary)).I guess from a big picture perspective, I do plan on buying in the area and if I have to travel back to VA for whatever reason then I have a side gig I can do to lessen the travel costs.
