If you or your parents are an obligator on the note you could look up the mortgage statement and call the customer service number to order the "mortgage note," or you can go back to your closing documents and the mortgage note should be in the closing package close to where the trust deed or mortgage papers are.

On paper I am a sub.I'll do a lot of projects out of pocket but most will be funded by the renovation loan.The work-arounds we have discussed may be good enough- as a sub I markup the material and do the work for min wage.

This depreciation counts as negative income, but it’s only negative on paper since the costs of keeping a property in good condition can be paid for out of the rental income.Thus, the depreciation “losses” wipe out the positive cash flow from the property and remove any tax obligation.
