@Jason Wutzke Your mothers 457 plan may have a loan provision that allows borrowing from the balance accumulated in your account.

At one 4 br house we rent to a family of 3, mother, father and child.

I would tell them that my mother is sick and we need a place for her to live so she can receive in-home care and see her grandkids a few more times.

I came across a motivated seller who's elderly mother owed 160K on the mortgage and wanted to sell fast.

He has already been in the house for about 2 months, because his mother passed away and said he did not have time to find another place to live.
