If you own a car, do you still change your own oil?

I currently work in the oil and gas industry in Houston TX.My wife and have agreed that is we want to become more financially independent we would have to find a vehicle to help us achieve that goal.

Once I learn how to cook, I'm sure I can figure out a recipe for my own secret sauce :) Therefore, my question is more how I can get hands on experience BEFORE I buy any notes, not what kind of notes I should start off buying.

The father is a cook, the mother doesn't work, and they have a small child.Any rehabbers or investors experience this in the past?

The drop in oil prices will hurt my economy but I expect it to help other parts. 

Houses are being sold almost as soon as they go on the market, and usually at higher than asking price.Having said that, there is some concern about the recent drop in oil prices.

Some of my interests are golf, cooking, gaming and continued personal development.

Now I just stay away from in ground oil tanks.

Apparently they are both heated via large gas stoves in the kitchen (i.e. the stoves are old fashioned and are supposed to be used for cooking and heating).
