I was told that I needed to switch to a different loan program because the Underwriter didn't believe that I would be moving back to Florida to live in one of the four units.

My goal is to get a duplex, triplex, etc. so I can start saving more money and live rent free, and in turn invest more! 

In addition, there is no longer enough livable area in the unit so one of the bedrooms has to be used as a living room and I have to put a door on a little passageway area and use that as the 2nd bedroom.

Im closing escrow on my first home purchase that I will be living in for a couple of years while I rehab it before I rent it out and move on to the next property, as I want to buy and hold.

Then they started begging for someone to give them a trailer they could park on the property to live in because the house got red-tagged and they still didn't move.  

It's a crock, but it's the world we live in.
