We chose those two for a variety of reasons - there's no perfect market for us right now, but given our criteria and budget, KC or Indianapolis make the most sense at this point.

How is your search for the perfect first property coming?

KW is definitely perfect for this.

Bottom of the carpet is white, so urine stains show up perfectly, and those dogs covered a vast majority of the carpet (multiple times in many areas), which was almost the entirely upstairs (1150 SF) & the stairs themselves.

I think at some point you should be accumulating a large wad of cash, and it sounds like you fit that category perfectly.

Not every situation will work out perfectly as you planned.

But thinking of it more as a gift and how I would approach it if were my own living situation makes perfect sense.
