Things like wet lands, critical slope, and setbacks can require more land to subdivide.3) I think the minimum lot size for the R2 is 6500 sq ft but I am typing this response off the top of my head while pushing my son in a stroller to sleep so I could be wrong.

The key to this strategy is selecting properties that banks will be willing to lend on...otherwise your cash will get stuck in a single property and your growth will be slowed tremendously.Talk to some local lenders and get pre-qualified before you start on this strategy -- your ability to refinance is critical.
