There are plenty of internet "gurus" who would be happy to take our money for their help.

But I'm just some guy on the internet so I'd love to hear what you think. 

Like was a lot of other advice, what you read on BP will apply broadly to most areas in the US, but not to the LA area!

So, if you're driven and believe in yourself, hit the books and the internet.

In today's market, it's too broad to use.

I do have internet at the rental.

@Stephon Paul I would recommend just performing an internet search for real estate investment meetings near you.

Corporate housing is interesting - usually higher rents, all inclusive (utilities usually included) and everything paid by a company for longer than normal rental terms. (1 I looked at in NM $1800/mo rent included everything - elec, gas, cable, internet - paid by a hospital for a doctor doing elective surgery for 15 to 18 months at a time plus laundry income.
