The subto seller's owners coverage (other than any liability arising from the breach of a warranty) would terminate at the subto sale.With a land contract / land installment contract / contract for deed (executory), coverage would continue (IMO) until the deed into the buyer was executed because the insured retains an estate or interest in the Land (legal title) until that time.

The other party can be listed a mortgagee (if the title transferred) or an additional Insured (if the old owner retains title).

@Brian Malavsky We actually have an attorney drafted lease that states the following "If the Landlord maintains the Deposit in an interest-bearing bank account, Resident consents to Landlord retaining the interest, except as required by law."

Some counties require you to bring in the copies or they will charge you to make copies, others like you to bring one copy, so they don't have to sign all of them, and they just copy the one you brought for free.Once you have filed the items above with the court clerk, you will need to mail one copy of the filed notice to the tenant.

Have a tenant in CT whose lease lapsed October 31st, they remained in possession until November 10th, who refuses to provide me with a mailing address to meet my obligations of mailing a letter outlining what money I've retained towards their security deposit.
